Cammy was unable to talk, yet her eyes spoke volumes. Even though she was unable to use her hands, Cammy touched the hearts of thousands. While unable to walk, Cammy’s story traveled worldwide. Celebrate Cammy Can and the remarkable impact she had on family, friends, an entire community and changed the course of Rett syndrome forever. Join us for an afternoon of music and memories with music by Nicki Neal and Side Project.
Memorial Park will open at 1:30P. On-site concessions will be available including food vendors and beer and wine options, for guests over 21.

SIDE PROJECT
Side Project is a group of local musicians who play in a variety of bands and perform around the Western suburbs. Focusing mostly on Americana, Blues, and Classic Rock, this group loves to play music by their favorite artists in a mostly acoustic arrangement. Side Project plays primarily at local breweries, at fundraisers, and private events. They have done previous work with Cammy Can to raise money and awareness for Rett Syndrome, and are closely connected with the Babiarz family as friends and neighbors.
NICKI NEAL
Nicki Neal is a classic singing/songwriting girl with a guitar. She has an eclectic set of musical influences and uses her smooth, bright voice to perform intimate originals as well as a broad range of covers that span from folk to classic jazz-singer to indie pop. Her acoustic guitar is the musical palate to an ever changing blend of rhythmic strumming, delicate finger-style, and complex chordal arrangements. A lifetime of performing solo and in multiple bands have made her comfortable on a stage of any size. Integrated into her performance are the stories she tells, whether it’s stories behind the songs or the stories the songs are telling.
